Marble Queen Pothos is a trailing or climbing houseplant with heart-shaped foliage. Each leaf carries a different blend of green and creamy white marbling. Its long vines suit hanging baskets, shelves, or a climbing support. It tolerates normal indoor conditions, though the pale areas need useful light. Choose it for bold variegation and flexible growth, but keep it away from children and pets.

Light requirements
Marble Queen Pothos needs medium to bright indirect light at 150 to 200 μmol·m⁻²·s⁻¹ as PPFD. Good light helps maintain its white and green marbling.
Placement: keep it about 6 ft / 1.8 m from a south, west, or east-facing window.
Direct sun: do not give the leaves an open view of the sky. Filter unavoidable sun with a sheer curtain.
Too much light: pale leaf sections may scorch or bleach.
Too little light: growth slows and new leaves may become greener. A PAR meter or PAR meter app can measure photosynthetically active radiation as PPFD (μmol·m⁻²·s⁻¹).
Watering
Water Marble Queen Pothos after the topsoil becomes dry to the touch. Do not follow a fixed calendar, since light, temperature, and pot size affect drying time.
Use room temperature rainwater, distilled water, or reverse osmosis water. This can reduce mineral buildup and crispy brown edges.
Apply water evenly until it runs from the drainage holes. Wait for all excess water to escape before placing the pot in a saucer or decorative planter.
A container with drainage holes is essential. Standing water and constantly wet soil can lead to yellow leaves and root rot.
Water considerably less in the winter months when active growth slows. Extended dryness may cause drooping, curled leaves, or dry edges.
Soil
An organic all-purpose potting mix provides the moisture retention and drainage Marble Queen Pothos needs. Use a pot with open drainage holes, and avoid packing the mix tightly.
DIY recipe: mix 3 parts coir with 1 part pumice.
Add a top dressing of worm castings. Replace any mix that has become dense, compacted, or slow to drain.
Feeding
Feed with an organic all-purpose fertilizer every 2 to 4 weeks from March to October. Apply it to damp soil and use the label strength. Do not add extra fertilizer to force faster variegated growth. Pause routine feeding when growth slows outside these months.
Temperature & humidity
The ideal temperature range for Marble Queen Pothos is 65 to 85 °F / 18 to 29 °C. Aim for 40 to 50% humidity. Keep the plant away from cold windows, strong drafts, and hot vents, which may dry or damage the foliage.
What to expect
Marble Queen Pothos can take 5 to 10 years to mature indoors. When supported, it may climb up to 10 ft / 3 m or more. Its eventual spread is 2 to 3 ft / 0.6 to 1 m. Growth is steady in warm conditions with useful light.
Varieties & cultivars
